CONGRATULATIONS... 24 year-old TEDDY SZANAJDA for rolling the Highest 3 Game Series at Pike Lanes on May 5, 2011 in the Thursday evening Nativity League. Teddy bowled 34 strikes, out of a possible 36, for games of 300 - 290 - 279 = 869 Series! Teddy has been bowling for almost 20 years, bowled many years in the Pike Lanes Junior League and competed on the Council Rock North Bowling Team for 4 years. ANOTHER CONGRATULATIONS...15 year-old Pike Lanes Junior bowler, Angela Weinberger recently competed in the Youth Pepsi Tournament, Girls 12 Years and Older, and won $900.00 in Scholarship money! Angela received the opportunity while competing in the Pike Juniors this past winter. Angela earned a spot to compete at the Regional Pepsi Tournament, held in March at Sproul Lanes in Springfield, PA. Here she earned First Place honors and won $300 in Scholarship money, and advanced to the State Youth Pepsi Tournament. At the State level, in Butler PA. on May 21 & 22, Angela came in Sixth Place and received an additional $600.00, for a total of $900!! Angela who has completed her second year of bowling in the Pike Lanes Juniors has an average of 95 and hopes to compete for her high school team next season. Congrats to Angela!
